Awesome minivan!

I love my van! I wish Ford still made these because I have more than gotten my moneys worth! Everything still works great other than the back-up sensors, but I'm very satisfied with the performance of this vehicle. Wish I could get another 300,000 miles out of it :)… - 4.0
a veritable tank
By Bama Mom | on Friday, June 11, 2010
We have had our van since it was new in 2004. 143,000 miles later, it stil looks and drives like new. We have not had any major issues with it, just repairs for normal wear and tear - alternator, a/c condenser, etc. It still gets around 27-28 mpg on the highway, and at least 20mpg just putting around town. We have had some issues with the automatic locks, but as yet we have not done any repairs to them. They still work, just finicky sometimes. I have also been in three major accidents in it, where the other cars were all but totaled, and this van is a freaking tank. Damage has always been minimal to non-existent. Just took a hit from behind by a utility truck recently. All the damage was to the utility truck. Me and my kids were uninjured. Heck of a sturdy car. I won't even consider trading it. Longest I've ever owned a vehicle. Wish Ford still made them.… - 5.0
Good van

Bought with 66,000 miles. Sold with 196,000 due to rust (ny state) had some coil issues, replaced and replacement went bad, replacement had warranty, replacement plug wires had issues going bad, flex exhaust pipe replaced twice, torque convertor went out (covered under recall, Ford even provided a rental) alignment issue due to suspension wear. Overall I owned this car till almost 200,000 miles and did very few repairs overall, and all were inexpensive. I did not buy 1,000 In parts in 130,000 miles of driving. 4.2 v6 runs like a truck, poor mileage, but very reliable. Engine in good shape at 196,000. Tranny OK. Torque convertor recall covered 05 but not some others that also had the same issue. Good family vehicle. Wish Ford still made them!…
