I have a 2007 chevy Avalanche LTZ. For my family and I it is the best of both worlds. You have the luxury of a car, but the room of a truck, you can haul things and still have your kids right there in the back seat with you. My only downfall with the chevy avalanche is the amount of gas it uses. The gas mileage is a trade off.I'm willing to accept though for all the conveniences.I do have with the chevy avalanche.… - 5.0

I have 780.000 miles on my avalanche. It's a very reliable truck. I tow trailers weekly. The only down fall is the cheap plastic dashboards. They will crack and fall apart guaranteed. The factory trans has defects. Mine was rebuilt 3 times. Finally found a transmission factory which upgrades the trans and elimates the problems. Front end alignment needs attention yearly do to poor quality streets in Houston.… - 5.0
